Your new role
We are seeking an experienced and agile professional to lead a short-term, cross-disciplinary initiative focused on IT opportunities, contracts, support framework, deliver a roadmap for long-term collaboration that adds value to operational policing and reduces costs and friction.

Key Objectives

• Identify Collaborative Opportunities
• Evaluate and prioritise ICT areas where regional collaboration can improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reduce Costs
• Recommend solutions to streamline processes, enhance interoperability, and reduce unnecessary expenditure.
• Deliver Actionable Recommendations
• Provide weekly reports to the Head of Technology, outlining findings and proposed actions.
• Establish Future Frameworks
• Lay the groundwork for ongoing tactical IT collaboration under strategic oversight.

What you'll need to succeed

• Conduct stakeholder engagement across areas.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather insights.
• Analyse current ICT practices and identify gaps or duplication.
• Draft and present progress reports and final roadmap.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts in IT and operational policing.
