IT Support Technician

Robert Half are representing one of our clients looking for a friendly, proactive IT Support Analyst who enjoys helping people and is keen to develop their IT skills. You'll provide day-to-day technical support across the business, resolving common IT issues and ensuring colleagues have the technology they need to work effectively. The ideal candidate can explain technical concepts in a clear, simple way to users of all technical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

User Support

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users.
• Diagnose and resolve everyday hardware and software issues.
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Provide support in person, over the phone and remotely.
• Set up new users, laptops and other IT equipment.
• Assist with password resets and user account administration.
• Escalate more complex issues when required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
• Basic experience with Active Directory or user account administration.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
