IT Support Specialist-Start: ASAP - 6 months - Remote&On-site

For our customer we are looking for an Support Specialist.
The primary responsibility of the IT Field Operations - Support Specialist role is to ensure that the IT infrastructure and end-user devices in the assigned region operate smoothly-both remotely and on-site-while efficiently managing the entire hardware life cycle.
Responsibilities:
* Remote Desktop Support (Level 1.5): Provide remote support for end-users, troubleshoot software and account issues, perform initial incident analysis, ticket triage, and guide users via self-service resources.
* Technical & On-Site Support (Level 2): Deliver on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues; perform installations, configurations, imaging, and upgrades; collaborate with global IT teams to resolve complex problems.
* Hardware Asset Management (HAM): Manage the full hardware life cycle, utilize asset management tools, conduct inventories and audits, ensure secure disposal, and generate reports on usage, refresh cycles, and compliance.
* Field Services Operations (FSO): Serve as the primary on-site IT contact, coordinate with vendors and logistics partners, and ensure adherence to global IT and security standards.
* Process & Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimizations, contribute to cross-functional standardization and automation initiatives, and support ITIL-based service management.
Key Requirements:
* Provide remote (Level 1.5) and on-site (Level 2) support for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Perform installations, configurations, imaging, upgrades, and troubleshooting for end-user devices.
* Manage hardware life cycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, audits, and secure disposal.
* Serve as primary regional on-site IT contact and coordinate with vendors and logistics partners.
* Identify process improvements, support ITIL-based service management, and contribute to workflow standardization and automation.
* 3-5 years in IT support roles, including remote desktop support, Level 2 on-site support, or field service in multi-site environments.
* Expertise in Windows and macOS, networking, and endpoint management.
* Experience with ITSM and remote support tools (ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Lansweeper, etc.)
* Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft; ITIL Foundation desirable
* Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities; capable of lifting IT equipment; willing to travel regionally for on-site and emergency support
