Job Description

We're looking for a reliable, technically confident IT Support Coordinator to assist our growing team with everyday IT needs. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable managing modern workplace tools, and can work independently in a remote-first environment. This will begin as a part time 3-month assignment, with the potential for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot problems across our internal tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, FirmRoom, and more across Windows and some Mac users).

  • Respond to ad hoc IT queries and tech issues from team members about their software and hardware.

  • Help onboard new team members: order laptops and equipment, create user accounts, and ensure access to key tools.

  • Work with vendors (e.g., Google or Microsoft support) when issues require escalation.

  • Improve IT security (tooling, processes, standards), rolling out opsec training etc.

  • Confident with MacOS and Windows

  • Maintain and manage inventory of devices, systems, subscriptions & licenses

  • Support onboarding/off-boarding processes

  • Implement/oversee ticketing system

  • Share recommendations when we explore new tools (e.g., for project management or sales).

  • Make recommendations where we can simplify our tool suite, automate, or get tools to work together in a more streamlined way

    About You

    • Some previous experience of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience, ideally supporting hybrid or remote teams.

    • Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 admin tasks.

    • A clear, friendly communicator who enjoys solving problems for others.

    • Well-organised and proactive; you follow through and spot ways to make things run more smoothly.

    • Bonus: experience working with early-stage start-ups or small, fast-growing teams.

      Location: London, hybrid

      Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week (freelance or contractor)

      Start Date: As soon as possible

      Contract Type: Initial 3-month contract, with potential for ongoing work
