About the RoleWe're looking for an IT Support & Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure & DevOps team. This is a hands on, foundational role focused on building and maintaining internal IT systems from the ground up. You'll be the go to person for all things IT in our London office, helping us establish secure, reliable infrastructure and supporting end users across the business.
What You'll DoIn this role, you'll take ownership of key responsibilities that help drive team and business success. Your day to day will include:
- Setting up and managing laptops, desktops, and AV equipment for the London office
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components across the business
- Building and maintaining secure Wi Fi and network infrastructure
- Providing responsive technical support to end users, troubleshooting issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems
- Implementing security measures to protect company assets and data
- Managing Office 365, Active Directory, and access permissions across platforms
- Creating and maintaining asset inventories and technical documentation
- Assessing IT needs and recommending upgrades or improvements
- Navigating change management with stakeholders and helping drive adoption of new systems
- Supporting the rollout of foundational IT processes and policies
- Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools
- Familiarity with AV systems, laptop provisioning, and access management
- Comfort working across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments
- A proactive, self starting attitude and ability to work with minimal structure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritise security and navigate stakeholder resistance with confidence
- Bonus: certifications like CompTIA, A+, Microsoft, or ITIL are a plus
