Job Description

Your new company and role:

Our client, a global consultancy firm, is currently on a lookout for an IT Support Specialist. This person will be the main contact for technical issues, handling hardware/software troubleshooting, inventory tracking, and user account management in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.


Your responsibilities:

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Act as the main contact for IT issues, resolving hardware and software problems, managing user accounts and permissions, and enforcing IT policies.

  • System Maintenance & Inventory

Install, configure, and upgrade software and operating systems; maintain accurate inventory and repair logs; monitor backups and test data recovery.

  • Collaboration & Vendor Coordination

Test new applications and upgrades, and coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors.

  • Training & Supervision

Assist in training and supervising junior IT staff and lead end-user training programs to enhance technical proficiency across the team.


Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Prior corporate experience (at least 1 year) and a background in technical support are preferred.
  • High level of communication with customers and members of the team, display a confident and self-motivated approach
  • Proficiency with remote support tools, managing service requests and escalations, and maintaining documentation, processes, and procedures.
  • Willingness to occasionally work extended hours


Important to know: the role is available for candidates currently based in the Netherlands.
