2026 Summer Technology Intern (Unpaid)

The Summer Technology Intern assists the Technology Department with projects that support district technology systems and equipment. This position provides hands on experience in educational technology, computer hardware maintenance, and technology deployment within a K-12 environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with Chromebook repair and maintenance
• Set up computers, monitors, printers, and other technology equipment
• Support classroom and office technology installations, moves, and reconfigurations
• Assist with summer teardown and setup of technology equipment
• Organize, inventory, and track technology assets
• Provide basic technical support under staff supervision
• Perform other technology-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Interest in technology, computers, or information systems
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment as needed

This unpaid internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience working with educational technology systems and technology support operations in a K-12 school district.
