IT Procurement Lead (Ref: 191697)

Overview

We're looking for a hands-on IT Procurement Specialist to join a retailer within their dynamic technology function based in Bradford. You'll play a key role in managing the sourcing and procurement of software and IT services across the business - from cloud-based systems to legacy platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement of software licences, IT services, and related solutions across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across IT and Finance to align purchasing with business needs.
• Manage contracts and renewals, ensuring value for money and compliance.
• Support the transition from IBM mainframe and legacy systems to more modern, cloud-based environments.
• Contribute to building an efficient, transparent, and commercially strong IT procurement process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT procurement - particularly software and IT services.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a clear track record of delivering value.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within a retail or large enterprise setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of both cloud-based platforms and legacy IT systems is beneficial.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
