IT Operations Manager (Infrastructure, Networks & Security)

Job Responsibilities

• The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of firm's IT infrastructure to ensure systems, networks, and services are reliable and secure.
• Support the IT Director with the implementation of the firms IT Strategies
• Manage, maintain and optimise the firm's on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Oversee backup and system security operations in accordance with the firm's policies.
• Manage the Cyber Essential Plus accreditation renewals and help the firm with audits for ISO27001 compliance.
• Identify and manage operational risks
• Provide hands-on support and participate in the out-of-hours support rota as required
• Assist the IT Director with the management of IT vendors, contracts, and software licenses
• Prepare monthly management reports of team/service activities, tasks, and operational metrics

Skills Required

• Previous experience as an IT Operations Manager, covering Infrastructure, Networks & Security.
• Experience supporting & managing M365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive), O365, SQL, Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware, Azure, Network Protocols, Enterprise Backup, Replication and Business Continuity and Disaster recovery.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations
• Strong understanding of Data Security and Cyber Security basics

This role requires someone fully onsite and would suit a hands-on operations manager.
