IT Network Security Administrator (m/f/d)

The position is permanent and full-time at the earliest possible date at our office in Saarbrücken.

Your tasks

• You can expect exciting and varied topics as well as a wide range of tasks to ensure network security such as firewall configuration, network flow monitoring and log analysis to identify unusual activities, vulnerability analysis, network segmentation, creation of group policies, development of security policies, update & patch management, incident response in the event of security incidents, support for secure remote access (VPN) for external partners/service providers, further development of network and system monitoring, penetration tests, an AD forest migration, and much more.
• A modern network and security architecture supports you in the implementation of your tasks.
• You will be responsible for 1st and 2nd level support as well as communication with 3rd level manufacturer support for your area of responsibility.

Your profile

• Completed training in IT (e.g. IT specialist in system integration) or comparable
• Several years of professional experience with modern IT security architecture (NGFW, EDR/XDR, IDS, VUL-Scan, MFA)
• Sound know-how on network topics (such as routing, switching, WLAN, preferably HPE/Aruba), Active Directory and DHCP/DNS as well as Identity Access Management
• Secure administration of Windows and Linux systems
• Solid basic knowledge of Veeam and VMware is an advantage
• Desirable: Scripting experience (e.g. in PowerShell)
• Analytical thinking, independent working style and team spirit
• Fluent German and good English skills
