IT NETWORK MANAGER

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

REQUIRED FROM SEPTEMBER 2026

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Network Manager join our IT department.

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the school's IT infrastructure. This role requires proven experience in network management and strong knowledge of networking infrastructure systems (Ruckus) and cybersecurity (PaloAlto). The successful candidate will ensure secure and efficient network services, work closely with staff, and make strategic IT network decisions.

Reporting to the Head of Technical and Digital Services, as IT Network Manager you will have the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with dedicated staff and ensuring a secure and efficient network for the school community. The role will be heavily focused around managing and maintaining our network infrastructure. The post holder will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the wired and wireless network. The post holder will act as an escalation point for the IT technicians and Systems Engineer on network related issues. Close collaboration and with other members of the department will be vital to ensure issues are rectified as effectively and efficiently as possible.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate, with a relevant degree or technical qualifications such as CCNA or CCNP, with previous experience in delivering IT solutions in an enterprise environment and administering an enterprise Wi-Fi environment. Previous experience working in IT in an educational environment would be desirable but is not essential.
