IT Network Administrator (m/f/d)

Our Medical Care Center for Laboratory Medicine, Microbiology, Hygiene, Clinical Infection Medicine, Human Genetics and Pediatric Endocrinology (MVZ Clotten), with almost 250 employees in Freiburg and integrated into the high-performance laboratory network of the Limbach Group, is looking for a part-time / full-time position (80 % to 100 %) with immediate effect.

IT Network Administrator (m/f/d) Your tasks:

• Design and administration of the entire network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and firewall)
• Responsibility for the implementation and further development of IT security specifications in the area of network and device segmentation
• Technical contact person for all aspects of the telecommunications infrastructure
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation on the IT infrastructure
• Assisting with the integration of new solutions into the existing IT system landscape
• Supporting the operation and further development of the existing IT infrastructure (storage systems, servers, etc.)
• Willingness to participate in the team's rotating on-call duty (24/7) including compliance with defined response times

Your profile:

• Completed studies or vocational training in the field of computer science or information technology
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, e.g. Network Engineer, Systems Engineer
• Sound expertise in modern network technologies, especially in the areas of VLAN configuration and network security (e.g. ACLs, VPN)
• Experienced in working with CISCO IOS and NX-OS, confident in analyzing network protocols and experienced in using scripting languages
• Certifications in the Microsoft and Cisco environment, especially in the areas of client / server administration and network technology are an advantage
• Knowledge of SAN and storage environments as well as Linux operating systems is desirable
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Ability to work under pressure as well as a team and customer-oriented, structured working style
• An analytical and independent way of working as well as an interest in and willingness to learn about new technological developments
