IT Infrastructure Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a 12 Month contract based in Derby or Bristol (expectation of 2-3 days on-site per week in the office) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

As IT Infrastructure Project Manager you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Facilities IT and infrastructure programme, including the relocation of operations facility. This role involves shaping and mobilising IT infrastructure, coordinating a complex supply chain, and ensuring seamless delivery aligned with capital and security requirements.

As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Deliver the full IT & infrastructure setup: networking, PC deployments, manufacturing systems, and Back Office environments.
• Lead the setup and integration of infrastructure into the new facility.
• Coordinate with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
• Support cost modelling and funding processes, managing capital approvals and reporting.
• Drive all aspects of project management: scope, budget, scheduling, reporting, risk, and change control.
• Oversee high-security classified systems, ensuring compliance with the Client safety standards.
• Manage quality reviews, escalation processes, and deliverable acceptance.

What we require from the candidate:

• Senior-level experience managing IT infrastructure delivery in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Hands-on expertise in networks, systems integration, and production floor technology.
• Strong safety awareness and understanding of manufacturing environments.
• Strong strategic vision with the ability to execute actionable plans.
• Adept at managing cross-functional, multi-vendor environments.
• Comfortable balancing IT and industrial infrastructure needs.
