Job Title: IT Deployment Engineer

Location: Widnes, Cheshire - onsite role

Day Rate: £200 per day - Ltd Company (Outside IR35) or PAYE Umbrella

Working Hours: 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri

Duration: 2 months initially

Start Date: ASAP

Role: We are searching for an IT Deployment Engineer to support a mixture of desktop and laptop deployments for a client based near Widnes, Cheshire.

Aside from having a good technical grasp of desktop and deployment activities, excellent customer service skills are required as you will be interacting with users in a face-to-face capacity providing a white-glove service, as well as engaging with internal IT too.

Main Duties

• Deploy and install PCs and laptops at end-user desks
• Unbox, set up, and connect equipment
• Carry out basic cable management and desk configuration
• Asset tag equipment and accurately record deployment details
• Adhere to deployment schedules and site-specific processes
• Liaise with site leads and end users as required

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in IT deployment or rollout projects
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware and workstation setups
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in new environments
• Familiarity with asset management systems and tools
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Excellent customer service
