The IT & Security Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of our internal IT Business Systems and Security Controls leading the operational delivery of IT services globally.
The role works closely with the head of Security and Compliance to execute IT and Security controls to support SOC 2 and ISO certification activities and assist with customer security and compliance due diligence.
- Lead and deliver day-to-day IT operations and support for internal business systems. Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT support requests and incidents.
- Own and manage internal business systems and hardware, execute joiner, mover, and leaver processes to ensure timely and appropriate access.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories.
- Ensure systems are configured in line with approved standards, baselines, and documented procedures. Operate and maintain security controls relating to access management, device management, and system configuration. Apply baseline security configurations and enforce access control policies. Support vulnerability remediation and operational security improvements under change management processes.
- Collect, maintain, and provide audit evidence relating to IT operations, access management, and asset management. Support internal and external audits, including responding to audit requests and participating in control walkthroughs. Track and support remediation actions arising from audits, risk assessments, or compliance reviews.
- Support customer security and compliance due diligence questionnaires and assurance requests. Provide accurate and timely information relating to IT operations and security controls.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience in IT operations, technical support, or systems administration.
- Hands on administration of Microsoft365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, device management, and security baselines.
- Familiarity with audit evidence collection and compliance support.
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity and data protection (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar frameworks, or relevant certifications (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, Microsoft).
- Experience in SaaS or regulated environments and familiarity with ITSM and change management processes would also be desirable.
