We are seeking an experienced and driven Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Manager to lead and continuously improve the quality systems within our Apprenticeships provision. This pivotal role ensures that our programmes meet and exceed the standards set by awarding bodies, regulatory organisations, and internal quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities- Act asCentre Coordinatorfor multiple awarding organisations (e.g. EAL, Pearson, City & Guilds, ILM).
- Serve as the main liaison with awarding bodies, managing all compliance, monitoring, and accreditation activities.
- Oversee theBTEC and workshop IQAprocesses.
- Support the RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) team in identifyingcost efficiencies.
- Ensure delivery meetsOfsted, awarding body, andinternal quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and reviewquality assurance policies and documentation.
- Managelearner registration, certification, and recordsin line with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and leadstandardisation meetingsto maintain consistency and best practices.
- Monitor and reviewassessment and verificationprocesses, including Assessor and IQA observations.
- Maintain accurate, auditable records for all quality assurance and certification activities.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance tocurriculum managers and delivery teams, ensuring compliance with the latest teaching and learning standards.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in atechnical/engineering setting.
- Strong background ineducation, particularly inApprenticeshipsandHigher Education.
- Demonstrated experience liaising withawarding organisationsand regulatory bodies.
- In-depth understanding ofOfsted, awarding body regulations, and sector compliance.
- Skilled in the design and execution of robustquality assurance systems.
- Exceptionalcommunication,organisational, andstakeholder managementskills.
