The position

As an iOS Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and passionate iOS Engineer to join our mobile development team. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly iOS applications that delight our users. As part of a cross-functional team, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift (and Objective-C if needed)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes
• Monitor app performance and user feedback to iterate and improve features

What you bring to the position

• Proven experience as an iOS developer with apps published in the App Store
• Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C
• Solid understanding of the iOS SDK, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with Xcode, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and multi-threading
• Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing on iOS
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Combine, SwiftUI, or Core Data
• Knowledge of Apple's latest frameworks (e.g., Vision, ARKit, Core ML)
• Familiarity with Firebase, Realm, or GraphQL
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Understanding of mobile security best practices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
