The Investment Oversight team within MSIM FMIL ensures that all investment delegates and strategies comply with regulatory requirements, deliver value to investors, and align with the Firm's risk and governance frameworks.The successful individual will be a member of the Investment Oversight team reporting to the Designated Person for Investment Management, supporting the team in the following tasks:Primary ResponsibilitiesProduction of reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to key stakeholders including legal entity boards and committees, fund boards, EMEA senior management and other governance foraKeep abreast of market developments across multiple strategies, identifying emerging trends and regulatory impactConducting analysis on performance driversPresent on investment strategies to wider teamAssist in due diligence of investment teams and documentation of findingsMaintain policy and procedure documentsAssist in ad hoc projects and in-depth analysisSkills requiredExperience in financial services, preferably within asset managementStrong academics; educated to degree or masters levelProfessional qualification or willingness to pursue e.g. CFA, CAIA or FRMAbility to engage with a broad range of stakeholders globallyFamiliarity with investment performance and risk methodologyHighly detail-oriented self-starter and team player, with the ability to maintain accuracy and effectiveness while working in a high-pressure and fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsInterest in financial markets, awareness of core activities / capabilities within investment management.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients - helping them reach their goals.
