Investment Accountant

Our Client, A leading Investment Management firm with a growing Dublin office, based in the city centre, are seeking a qualified accountant to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations and financial close processes.
• Analyse financial results and investigate significant movements across monthly, quarterly and annual reporting periods.
• Reconcile investment activity across equities, fixed income, commodities and derivative products, ensuring transactions and balances are accurately reflected.
• Work closely with external fund administrators and provide information required for the annual audit process.
• Partner with teams across Finance, Operations, Middle Office and Investor Relations to resolve issues and deliver accurate reporting.
• Contribute to management reporting and assist with projects designed to improve financial processes and controls.

Key Requirements

• Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant.
• Experience within investment management, hedge funds, private equity, fund administration or a similar financial services environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations.
• Exposure to investment products such as equities, fixed income and derivatives would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator who can work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholder
