Internship Production Engineer (12 months)

Your Tasks
Support along the entire process line engineering tasks of photon-counting semiconductor devices: wafer- and chip-level processing, flip-chip assembly, 3D integration
Project research in advanced packaging
Design and iteration of custom tooling for your process, with the scope of increased automation
Regularly plan and conduct experiments, analyze, document, and communicate findings
Your Skills
Recent graduate or Master's student in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or similar field, oriented towards semiconductor processing
Previous practical experience or familiarity with the cleanroom environment is advantageous
Autonomy and versatility are beneficial skills, as well as motivation to drive tasks to completion
Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and willing to join an interdisciplinary team

The DECTRIS Medical team is a specialized unit at DECTRIS that aims to introduce its innovative photon counting detector technology to the medical imaging market. They are an interdisciplinary team that combines in-depth experience in the medical imaging equipment industry with many years of know-how in photon counting detector technology.
