Internship Middle Office Financial Engineering (9 - 12 months)

Your Role As Intern you are joining and supporting the different desks within the Financial Engineering team in charge of structured products and derivatives solutions and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to grow professionally in financial engineering. Your Responsibilities

• Supporting and assisting the Financial Engineering desks in their daily business activity tasks
• Managing the life-cycle of issued products (such as autocall scenarios, coupon payments, etc.)
• Managing administrative processing related to structured products and derivatives (e.g. mandate refinancing bookings with treasury, mandate bookings to operations, etc.)
• Supporting and managing the administrative processing within the product issuance process

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship or Bachelor degree in finance or economics
• 1-2 years of practical experience in the financial industry would be an advantage
• Derivatives and/or Structured Product basic knowledge is a plus
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills including experience with Excel
• Knowledge in VBA or Python is an advantage
• Keen interest to improve existing processes and procedures
• Capability to work independently as well as willingness to take responsibility
• Fluency in English and German is required
