Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Intern Learning & Development to join our team in London, UK. This position coordinates the facilitation of training programmes for the franchised and managed hotel community as well as Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) team members. Responsibilities include supporting the EMEA Learning & Development Team in planning the annual EMEA Training Calendar, adapting courses, identifying learning and operational needs, coordinating course delivery, and utilising the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Learning Management System (LMS). The role ensures that franchisees, managed properties and their teams have the necessary tools and knowledge to use systems effectively, while working within brand standards to maximise revenue, engagement, quality assurance and guest satisfaction.
Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the delivery of the Training Programme
Coordinate the delivery of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts training courses and programmes throughout the EMEA division. Training courses will form part of a cycle of long-term development and continuous learning for the WHR value proposition, culture, and performance of the hotel properties.
Programme planning
Support the corporate training plan for the EMEA division in line with the Regional/ Global Learning & Development Strategic Plan. Planning to deliver timely and relevant programmes will support the franchisees, managed hotels, and their teams at each stage of the hotel lifecycle including pre-opening, opening, programme launches and initiatives, hiring, performance management, revenue optimisation and quality assurance. This will require close liaison with the EMEA L&D team and leaders of key functions to ensure all functional requirements are met:
- Scheduling and supporting Zoom sessions for the corporate audience.
- Analysing evaluations from training sessions and communicating findings as appropriate.
Course content and Learning Management System administration
- Contribute to the design, adaptation and/or creation of course content for the division, including setting up programmes and adding classes and dates in the LMS. This may include Instructor Led content, e-Learning solutions and country-specific variations based on culture or legislation. Maintain a link with the Global Wyndham University team to ensure continuity and alignment.
L&D administration and communications
- Communicating training offerings to relevant stakeholders and managing registrations and completions.
- Maintaining, analysing and updating the corporate team member training calendar and training records in LMS.
- Liaising with the L&D team on training schedules.
- Reporting on LinkedIn Learning for weekly, monthly and annual reports and dashboards.
- Collecting ideas for live trainings, liaising with department heads/trainers and coordinating the technical setup and registrations.
- Supporting onboarding of corporate team members.
HR projects
- Updating the Learning & Development onboarding content for all corporate team members.
- Internship Group Project: All interns participate in a business-critical project during their internship.
- Participating in HR/ Talent projects related to HR growth in the EMEA division (e.g., Recognition & Engagement, CSR, On-boarding, Recruitment & Selection).
- Employee Engagement Committee: Interns support activities/initiatives under three pillars: People, Community and Sustainability.
- Studying towards a degree in hospitality or a related field.
- Experience in facilitating and presenting various topics.
- Understanding of the training cycle and the learning environment.
- Fluency in verbal and written English; a second language is useful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams).
The Intern Learning & Development EMEA reports to the Director of Talent Management EMEA and works closely with the broader L&D team.
- £25,875 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship.
- 25 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis).
