As an Intern, you'll assist our case managers with case work through multiple tasks spanning from research support to leading your own projects and creating presentations identifying key findings in investigations.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out due diligence research by using databases, internet and public domain tools;
  • Collate and organize large volumes of information;
  • Document review and analysis;
  • Interrogate open-source findings and identify negative information or risk-relevant patterns;
  • Analyze, summarize, and contextualize complex allegations, disputes, and fact patterns relevant to financial crime compliance, including in challenging media landscapes;
  • Act as a Case Manager handling all steps of the preparation of an integrity due diligence report, including conducting investigative open source research, report writing, and finalization of reports;
  • Assist other Case Managers in specific research or report writing tasks;
  • Assist Managers in identifying and mapping out information to inform commercial proposals;
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues to inform them of progress of case work, highlighting key issues where necessary;
  • Organize case files, maintain accurate research records and record all billable costs;
  • Provide additional research and administrative support to the team when requested.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in another language;
  • Degree pursued: penultimate/final year Bachelor or Master degree; social sciences are preferred but not required;
  • Proven research and analytical skills;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Awareness of sensitivities of working in a variety of cultural and political environments;
  • Ability to communicate to managers and colleagues with impact.
