A little about Nordic Pharma:

Nordic Pharma is a mid-size privately-owned international pharmaceutical company which focuses on the development and commercialization of niche hospital and orphan products to address unmet medical needs. Today, Nordic Pharma has a range of highly specialized proprietary and in-licensed products in the following therapeutic areas: Rheumatology, Women's Health, Ophthalmology and Critical Care.

Job title: Intern Human Resources, Communication and Sustainability

Department: HR, Communications and Sustainability

Location: Hoofddorp, The Netherlands

Duration: 6 months

Employee Status: Intern (Fixed Term - 6 months - Start: August/September)

What we're looking for:

A highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible student who must do an internship for their Bachelor or Master in the Netherlands.

We need someone who is interested in HR, Communication and Sustainability. In our company, those three very vast areas are bundled into one department. We believe this makes for a very interesting internship if your curiosity is high and you are keen to discover different key areas of a business. This is also why that flexibility mentioned above is so important here.

You will have a global vision since you are working in a corporate environment in Hoofddorp not too far from Amsterdam. If you have some previous work experience in an office environment that's great, but not mandatory. What is a must, however, is a hands-on, 'can do' approach and positive.

You must be comfortable with digital as you will be working with a number of tools e.g. HRIS, SharePoint, Office365 and more.

You are able to commute to our Hoofddorp office 3 days a week.

Your written and spoken English are excellent (there will be writing involved) - Dutch and French are a plus.

Could there be a fit? If so, keep on reading!

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Work on a wide variety of HR projects: recruitment, harmonizing HR processes, employee engagement, role profiles update, and more

  • Contribute to a wide array of internal and external Communication projects including the company Intranet and websites, LinkedIn, newsletters and more

  • Contribute to a wide array of Sustainability/CSR projects: help with reporting, accreditation, and implementing related actions to integrate into Nordic Pharma's DNA

  • Contribute to our Great Place to Work project - that's right, we've been recognized as a Great Place to Work by our employees!

  • Help create visuals for company announcements and social media

  • Help organize company events

What we offer you

An international, dynamic Internship open for a 5-month minimum duration, starting from August/September onwards. You will work together with colleagues from all over the globe. You will gain exposure to a fast paced, collaborative office environment. You will work independently but also get the right mentorship to get the most out of your internship. In our small team, you will have many opportunities to take initiative, and develop your expertise in HR, Communication and Sustainability fields.

We offer a paid Internship, travel compensation and a hybrid way of working.

Your work location

This internship is based in one of our Nordic Pharma Headquarters located in Hoofddorp, close to public transport and with free parking. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with relocation or visa support.
