Intermediate Structural Engineer x 2

Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland. They are currently seeking two Intermediate Structural Engineers to join their Dublin and Cork offices, and support Life Sciences projects.

As an intermediate Structural Engineer, you will be expected to collaborate within the structural team under the guidance of a senior engineer. Responsibilities may include performing design calculations and preparing reports, participating in internal design team meetings, attending client review sessions, reviewing structural drawings, and related tasks.

Overall Expectations

• Be capable of preparing structural design calculations and reports for specific project components
• Collaborate with the structural team to support the development of the 3D Revit model, and subsequently review and verify drawings
• Comprehend client requirements, as defined by the team, and consistently aim to meet or exceed them
• Meet commitments that you make to the client, individually or as a team, to complete work by certain dates or within agreed man-hour or cost budgets
• Proactively engage with members of your project task force, client representatives, and departmental colleagues as needed

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the design of building structures
• Chartered engineer Preferable
• Technically proficient with Eurocode, BSI and Irish design standards and codes
• Proficient with structural design software (TEKLA Designer, etc)
• Strong communications skills
