Interior Designer with Sales Expertise
_Based in NW London Full-Time £24,000 - £35,000 + Uncapped Commission_
About Us
FCI London is one of the UK's leading contemporary interior design and luxury furniture showrooms. We are expanding and looking for a talented and driven Interior Designer with a passion for sales to join our dynamic team in NW London.
You'll be part of a collaborative, multicultural team working on high-end residential interiors, offering bespoke design solutions and premium furniture to private and B2B clients across the UK and internationally. This is a client-facing, design-meets-sales role ideal for someone who is as confident closing deals as they are crafting stunning interiors.
Please note : This is a sales-focused design role. If you don't enjoy selling, this position is not the right fit.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop design concepts, mood boards, and client proposals
Source and procure FF&E items, ensuring alignment with client needs and company processes
Conduct site visits, take accurate dimensions, and attend design/client meetings
Create technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure project success
Drive sales of interior design services and furniture solutions
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience in residential interior design in the UK
Demonstrated track record in sales within design or furniture retail (minimum 3 years)
Strong knowledge of FF&E procurement and product sourcing
Proficiency in AutoCAD , SketchUp , Photoshop , InDesign , and Excel
Detail-oriented with excellent presentation and communication skills
What You'll Get
Salary: £24,000-£35,000 per annum (based on experience)
Commission: Uncapped structure - earn up to 10% with monthly averages between £2,000-£5,000
Holidays: 28 days (bank holiday work required)
