We're looking for a Director of People & Talent passionate about designing and implementing people solutions that enable all Causaly employees to be and do their best as we work together to reach our mission.

In this role, you'll report to the COO and own all things People and Talent. You will be a people leader able to balance hands-on work and strategic discussions. You're people- focused, commercially-minded, curious, and results-driven - you support the team whilst driving key people programmes and execute on people tasks with precision to drive the biggest impact.

You will be involved on a variety of topics: from thinking about our EVP, leading in the implementation of people initiatives throughout the employee journey, to coaching managers and leaders across the business.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of 4, including people operations, workplace experience, and 2 talent acquisition team members.

  • Coach and guide managers on all things people and talent, from onboarding, employee relations & investigations, to career development and organisational design and planning.

  • Report on people and talent data across a variety of sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.

  • Serve as a resource for all employees to answer people-related questions, support their journey, and coach when needed.

  • Build new and iterate on existing people initiatives and programmes across Performance, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Reward, and Employee Experience.

  • Work with and support the people team to co-create and implement impactful people solutions to support a scaling organisation.

  • Handle general employee relations issues and first tier investigations across our various locations (UK, Greece, USA).

  • Be a cultural ambassador, championing our values and making sure they are part of everything we do.

  • You will work collaboratively with other departments, from Legal to Finance on a variety of initiatives and projects, from compliance, reward and others.

Who we're looking for

  • You have worked in tech and in the fast-paced environments of start-ups and scale ups.

  • You have lead people teams spanning from people operations, talent acquisition and development, workplace experience.

  • Adaptability, flexibility, and change management skills - change is frequent in a growing start up. You need to be able to adapt and reprioritise to drive the biggest impact - you get hands-on one minute and drive an organisational change discussion the other minute.

  • You care about building effective relationships, understanding the key stakeholders needs, and you can influence to drive effective action.

  • You have a strong operational knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance and translate it to practice with a pragmatic and values-aligned approach.

  • You have operated in international environments and cultures, ideally with experience in the USA and other European countries.

  • You have experience in supporting a wide range of employees and leaders at different levels.

  • You are data driven and can talk to the impact of initiatives you ran on increasing employee engagement, driving talent efforts, or managing culture change.
