Overview

Interim Data Privacy Lawyer - Retail - Nottingham. Our client is a recognised retail business in Nottingham seeking a Data Privacy Lawyer on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover, starting asap. Reporting into the Compliance & Privacy Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that the business remains on the front foot from a data privacy perspective.

Responsibilities

• Managing the privacy compliance programme, along with management of key internal stakeholders.
• Develop & maintain GDPR processes, policies and procedures & deliver training updates to the business.
• Carry out DPIAs, support incident response planning and breach reporting procedures.
• Support on internal audits and assurance activities related to data privacy compliance.
• Managing a junior compliance professional.

Salary and Benefits

The salary is up to £90,000 (DOE) plus a £6,000 car allowance, pension, holidays and bonus.
