Intelligence Analyst - Police Staff - R&A - Counter Terrorism Policing SE

As an intelligence analystyou will provide high quality tactical and strategic analysis to inform, advise and assist decision makers / senior operational police officers in the prevention, targeting, disruption and detection of crime. Furthermore, you will use analytical techniques to create products to inform relevant strategic and tactical planning to the standard defined within the National Intelligence Model (NIM) and Authorised Professional Practice (APP).

Through the application of structured analytical techniques (SATs), and the use of analytical vocabulary, you will provide assessments of activities of individuals / groups / themes to establish the dimensions of the threat posed. You will provide efficient and effective service to support managerial, operational and investigative decision-making. Your analysis will assist in prioritisation, focusing intelligence gathering and guide investigative, enforcement and prevention activities. This will include making recommendations to drive business activity at both a tactical and strategic level.
