Integration Architect/Full time onsite in Geneva

Endeavour Recruitment has an urgent freelance position for an Integration Architect who is based in Switzerland.

This is a full time, onsite role based in Geneva.

Daily rate: 870 CHF (DOE)

The Integration Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the integration strategy and architecture for the organization's various systems and platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of business processes and technical architecture to ensure seamless integration between disparate systems, applications, and services, both on-premises and in the cloud.

We are looking for an Integration Architect with a University degree and at least six years of experience:

• Proven track record in leading integration projects for large-scale enterprise systems involving both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Expertise in industry-leading integration platforms
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing APIs.
• Proficiency with data-related processes across multiple systems and formats.
• Experience in designing integration solutions using Middleware technologies.
• Knowledge of secure data transfer methods and data encryption.
• Ability to design integration solutions with high availability, scalability, and resilience.
• Experience with load balancing, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling strategies for integration systems in cloud environments.
• Experience writing detailed technical documentation, including integration blueprints, data flow diagrams, API specifications, and other design artifacts.
• Strong understanding of the business processes that the integration solutions aim to support.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, IT operations, security teams, and executive leadership.
• Excellent knowledge of English.

Tasks and Deliverables:

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of the enterprise-wide integration strategy.
• Create proposals outlining the architectural design addressing the needs of new integration projects.
• Deliver state-of-the-art guidelines for building integration patterns supporting different teams with their ICT integration projects.
• Build relevant roadmaps for non-compliant projects ensuring involved teams align with the enterprise-wide integration strategy.
• Work under the responsibility of the Lead of Enterprise Architecture for contributing to the Architectural Solutions Group.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required experience:

An experienced Integration Architect with 7-10+ years in enterprise IT, including 5+ years in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. Deep expertise in API architecture, integration tools, and modern enterprise patterns. Experience with API security.
