About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Integrated Planning Lead to drive planning excellence across multiple concurrent programmes within a complex delivery environment. This is a pivotal role responsible for establishing, embedding, and leading integrated planning practices that enable successful, milestone-driven delivery at scale.

You will work across organisational boundaries, engaging senior stakeholders and programme teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability in planning. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership in designing and implementing robust planning frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated planning across multiple programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
  • Design and implement standardised planning frameworks from the ground up
  • Facilitate large-scale cross-programme planning events (eg PI planning, Big Room Planning, or equivalent)
  • Oversee programme planning cycles, ensuring milestone-driven delivery and effective critical path management
  • Identify, map, and actively manage cross-programme dependencies
  • Drive accountability among senior stakeholders for planning commitments and delivery outcomes
  • Embed sustainable planning disciplines that continue beyond initial implementation
  • Operate effectively across organisational silos to ensure cohesive programme execution

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in integrated planning within complex, multi-programme environments
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing planning frameworks from scratch
  • Strong understanding of planning cycles, dependency management, and critical path analysis
  • Experience facilitating large-scale collaborative planning events
  • Ability to influence and hold senior stakeholders accountable
  • Comfortable working across both agile and traditional (plan-driven) delivery methodologies
  • Experience in defence, government, or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to shape and lead planning practices at scale
  • Collaborative and high-impact working environment
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Professional growth within a complex and dynamic programme landscape
