Job Purpose

The person shall be responsible for the delivery of their programme in accordance with the agreed programme specification, together with the day-to-day management and maintenance of all aspects of the programme.

What we're looking for:
  • Third level or Further Education qualification, preferably within the Education/Training or Social Sciences sector
  • A relevant pedagogical/training qualification, e.g. Train the Trainer
  • Occupational experience of working with learners in educational, guidance and/or developmental contexts
  • Experience of working with young people with additional support needs including intellectual disabilities, ASD, physical and sensory needs and/or mental health difficulties
Your Responsibilities
  • To undertake the development and delivery of the programme with competence and carry out duties with innovation, flair, imagination in a person centred training environment.
  • Maintain all records required for effective monitoring of the participants' progress; maintain all records in accordance with both internal and external quality standards and produce reports on the same, as required.
  • Carry out one to one key working; assist the learner in developing his/her Individual Action Plans, thus supporting the process regarding his/her own personal choices, according to New Directions and Training Programme Specification.
  • Use a variety of methodologies to support achievement of the learners' goals, for example using Assistive Technologies, Art, Craft, Drama, Music, etc.

Salary

€35,039.55 to €42,470.46 (pro rata), subject to negotiation depending on experience and qualification.
