Installer - Innovative Modular Structures

Role:

We are seeking skilled installers to construct McGregor Structures on-site. The successful candidates must be determined to finish projects to a high standard. This role requires travel across the UK and staying away Monday - Friday and occasional weekends.

The successful candidates should have CSCS. The core activity is constructing the company's modular structures on sites in the UK. The structures are curved steel frames that slot and bolt together - the fabric cladding is stretched and fastened over the structure.

_We are continually improving our product range, so a desire to produce high-quality work following our specified construction process is required, as updates are managed through detailed construction manuals produced in-house in addition to practical training._

We are continually improving our product range so there will be periodic practical training at our sites near Winchester, as well as detailed construction manuals provided which are produced in house. We are looking for candidates with a desire to produce high-quality work and who are willing to contribute ideas and feedback to the in-house team so that we can keep improving our products.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for installing the structures McGregor Structures supplies.

You will assess and plan installation on site, communicating to the client and McGregor Structures the schedule and progress. Installations typically take between two days and two weeks. Management of tools and van maintenance is also required.

Training will be carried out by dismantling and rebuilding demonstration structures at our factory near Winchester, ensuring you are clear about how to carry out the task successfully and that health and safety are managed effectively.

Additional Tasks:

Checking vans and tools for upcoming jobs and alerting the team to any purchasing or maintenance required

Weekly meeting on Slack to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects

Monthly review of businesses' financial performance

Training on new structures as they are released

Benefits:

Monthly pay: £27,500 to £35,000 depending on experience

Minimum of 42 hours per week - additional hours paid

Per diem of £20 in addition to salary every night away

22 days holiday plus bank holidays

IPAF training if required after probation

Pay: £28,392.00-£35,000.00 per year
