Job Description
Joinery Installations Supervisor
London
£35,000 - £55,000 + Package
Key Responsibilities:
- To help site teams deliver project Quality standards.
- To assist with the setup of new sites.
- To supervise, coordinate, and monitor subcontractors, material suppliers, and providers.
- To progress and report on given tasks.
- Complete Installation Q.C paperwork.
- Maintain Installation Record of Installations.
- Identify Snag works for installation teams to complete.
- Complete Material Requisition sheets and/or NCRs.
- Follow Heron Standards for Health and Safety on site.
- Help develop Safe Systems of work to ensure best practices and continual improvement.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, head office, and the general workforce involved in the project as required.
- Liaise with clients and their representatives, including attending meetings as needed.
- Comply with health and safety, quality, and environmental control on site.
- Work to ensure commercial performance is achieved.
- Report trends in remedial works/snags.
- Use nominated IT software packages.
- Report all incidents, delays, defects, and problems immediately to the Project/Contracts Manager.
- Proactively solve problems as part of a committed Heron Bros Ltd project team.
- Liaise with and assist as part of the project team in improving our monthly project KPI results.
- Participate in site surveys as required.
- Work with the remedial team, site managers, and contracts manager to ensure remedials and snags are captured and closed out in a timely fashion.
- Represent and implement an excellent Public Relations image of HJ to our clients, design teams, general public, and within HJ.
- Undertake any other tasks as directed by the Contracts Manager or senior management.
Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience in the construction industry.
- Site experience.
- Excellent communicator.
- Experience with subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong IT skills and experience with a range of IT packages.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- CSR/CSCS or equivalent attainment.
- Current valid UK driving licence.
