Installation Support Technician (IST)

Job Summary:As an Installation Support Tech, you will provide technical support at any of our brick and mortar, mobile, or on-site locations at an OEM prestige motor manufacturer in Solihull.The right person will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Be a proactive problem solver and strives to be an integral part of the team and the success of the company. There is a 90-day probationary period. Career progression opportunities available.Core DutiesMove vehicles around installation facilityOrganize and keep tidy install baysKeep installation bays stocked with supplies and partsPrepare parts for applicationAssist installers with finalizing installationClean/wipe down vehicles to prepare them for application and deliveryAssist the team with day-to-day tasksPerform final quality inspections on outgoing vehiclesBasic QualificationsMust have a current and valid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to be on timeAbility to comfortably and safely drive high-end vehiclesMust work well with others and have good team building skillsMust be able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environmentAdherence to deadlinesExcellent hand-eye coordination and dexterityMust be able to lift 45 lbs.Must be able to kneel and bend for quality checkingOvertime / working in shifts may be requiredFull-time, PermanentShift Requirement:This position requires working in a rotating shift schedule.Morning Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMAfternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMShifts will rotate every two weeks.
