Installation Engineer

Pay: £16.00 - £22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: Full-time (40-50 hours per week)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity for anInstallation Engineerto work with diesel and gas generators and associated equipment. The position involves both workshop and on-site installation, requiring a hands-on approach and experience in engineering or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install diesel and gas generators, pipework, and associated systems.
• Assemble and fit pipework both on-site and in the workshop.
• Move and assemble heavy plant and machinery safely.
• Operate hand and power tools confidently and safely.
• Work on varied sites, adhering to all safety procedures and site standards.
• Travel to sites as required (expenses fully paid).

Requirements

• Experience in engineering, mechanical fitting, or construction environments.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Valid CSCS card (required).
• Full UK driving licence (required).
• Ability to travel and work away from home when necessary.
• Experience with pipe fitting, MEWP, or forklift operation is advantageous.
• Competitive hourly rate: £16.00 - £22.00 per hour.
