Inspiring Secondary English Teacher (KS3-KS4, Supply)

About the role:

Justteachers are working with a welcoming secondary school in South Norwich who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English specialist to join their team on a supply basis for the remainder of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who thrives on inspiring young people and delivering high quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well planned English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Prepare, mark, and assess student work in line with school and curriculum expectations
• Create a positive, well managed classroom environment that supports learning
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high standards
• Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas where additional support is needed

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Two education or school based references
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English
• Ability to deliver engaging, well structured lessons
• Confident in managing classroom behaviour and building positive relationships
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to high standards
