Role overview

The 'Insights & Reward Partner' plays a key role in the HR team and the wider business, managing people metrics and providing data insights to support performance and people strategies. You will shape HR processes, ensure policies and benefits are current, support the Rewards Strategy, and assist with onboarding and integration of new business acquisitions, including harmonising terms and conditions where appropriate.

Key tasks

  • Manage HR KPIs, data, records, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Deliver monthly HR dashboards with insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare HR reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis for leadership.
  • Ensure all employment contracts are signed and stored properly.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR documentation and policies.
  • Support external audits and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee referencing, security vetting, and right-to-work checks.
  • Manage exit processes and collate feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Lead reward strategy development, benchmarking, and external trend analysis.
  • Manage benefits in line with policies, including life assurance, pension, healthcare, and Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Act as Super User for CIPHR HR system, ensuring full utilization and updates.
  • Coordinate feeds/interfaces with Payroll for accurate employee payments.
  • Maintain logs of HR collateral and policies, updating as needed.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to the team.

  • Be aware of operational and regulatory risks affecting your role.
  • Report any risks that could impact the business to your manager.

  • Operate within the set compliance framework.

Criteria

Essential: Up-to-date HR legislation knowledge, IT proficiency (SharePoint, Excel, MS products), knowledge of CIPHR HR system, understanding of payroll systems, experience with job evaluation tools.

Desirable: Experience in a similar HR role within a multi-site organization, implementing reward strategies, advising leaders, and managing business acquisitions/harmonisations.

Attributes include attention to detail, organization, and ability to work under pressure.
