Injection Moulding Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting successful Injection Moulding business in Leicester as they seek an Injection Moulding Manager for their facility. The role will oversee a skilled workforce, operating in a well stocked facility that utilises various bits of kit and a wide range of materials. • Oversight of 20 - 45 headcount depending on production demands, driving production standards
• Be responsible for the planning of production against customer needs
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Ensure safe working practices, whilst training and mentoring staff to be the best they can be
• Driving continuous improvement and Lean behaviours in the facility. Oversee and improve processes where possible
• Be hands on with the machinery and products when necessary to ensure quality and conformance is at it's maximum

Experience needed for the role:

• Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding operations, materials handling, and production processes.
• Recent leadership or management experience in an injection moulding environment.
• Examples of process improvement identification and application
• Capabilities around production planning for Just in Time manufacturing against client requirements
• Experience with stock management a bonus
• Supporting qualifications around Lean, Six-Sigma, Health & Safety, Injection Moulding or Quality a bonus
