Infrastructure Solutions Managing Director

About The Role

Working closely with various business unit leads and the Group's management team, the MD for BRUSH Infrastructure Solutions will play a key role in shaping the future of the business through the integration of different units and the definition and execution of strategic goals.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise and operational skills from within each unit to deliver strong, profitable, and sustainable growth, including regional expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Performance

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory regulations, and Group policies.
• Prepare and execute business plans to meet budget targets, focusing on cost-effective operations and market development for strong cash generation.
• Identify and realize synergies through sharing best practices and integrating support functions (e.g., BIM, IT infrastructure) to improve profitability.
• Work closely with regional teams to optimize engineering workforce utilization, managing EBITDA and cash flow.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, government departments, agencies, and stakeholders.

People Management

• Guide and motivate teams, fostering collaboration across units and setting clear objectives.
• Support integration planning and identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Ensure alignment of procedures and processes, securing buy-in from key personnel.
• Drive cultural and behavioral changes to improve efficiency and productivity without compromising quality or risking performance.
• Support talent development, succession planning, and skills matrix definition.

Strategic Planning

• Collaborate with the Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer to design and implement the business strategy aligned with Group objectives.
• Identify market and customer trends, advising management accordingly, covering critical infrastructure and public sector markets.
• Leverage insights to define the value proposition of Infra Solutions.
• Identify gaps in portfolio and geographical footprint, proposing solutions for sustainable growth.
• Develop new strategic business opportunities, strengthen key relationships, and expand customer base.
• Participate in M&A activities.
