On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager (Defence - Security Cleared) for a 12 Months contract based in Bristol (2-3 times per week in the office)

Job description - the role

Purpose of the role:
As Infrastructure Project Manager you will support critical cross-functional IT and infrastructure projects. Having a background in defence, infrastructure, and strategic programme delivery you will lead transformative initiatives from concept to completion.

What you'll do:

• Leading complex, multi-stream technical projects across infrastructure and defence domains.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and finance to deliver key outcomes.
• Managing vendor relationships, contract performance, and secure supply chains.
• Driving full project life cycle activities: Work Breakdown Structures, schedule definition, cost tracking, RAID management, governance and reporting.
• Crafting compelling business cases and securing approvals through senior command structures.
• Ensuring stakeholder alignment and clarity through proactive communication and progress updates.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven delivery of large-scale infrastructure or defence programmes (MOD).
• Strong command of project controls, risk mitigation and budgeting frameworks.
• Experience liaising with secure government functions, regulatory bodies and international partners.
• BID/tender process experience and exposure to procurement cycles.
• Familiarity with encrypted communications, cyber assurance, or systems engineering is a plus.
