Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise SharePoint environments within a large-scale IT estate.
Responsibilities- Support and maintain on-premises SharePoint environments
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability
- Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes and improvements
- Manage underlying Windows Server infrastructure and related services
- Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes as required
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for operational tasks
- Support security and access control within the platform
- Assist with deployments and platform changes
- Work with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver improvements
- Maintain documentation and operational standards
- Strong experience supporting SharePoint in enterprise environments
- Good knowledge of Windows Server and infrastructure support
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Experience with Active Directory or identity services
- Understanding of security and access control in enterprise systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
