Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Penarth (5 days a week for first 3 months)

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000

Summary:

We're hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of a well-established AWS and internal IT environment within a growing SaaS tech business.

It's a great opportunity for someone who wants full ownership of infrastructure rather than being a small part of a bigger team.

You'd be managing a stable AWS environment but also the wider IT estate, so you get that mix of cloud and hands-on responsibility. You'll work closely with leadership and gradually take over the full infrastructure function. It suits someone who enjoys improving systems rather than constantly firefighting or rebuilding from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, Route 53)
• Maintain Linux and Windows environments
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery and system resilience
• Manage DNS, CDN and edge services (Cloudflare)
• Own internal IT systems, hardware and security
• Improve monitoring, automation and operational efficiency
