Infrastructure Engineer - Hands & Feet Support

We are a leading global technology company delivering innovative IT solutions across industries. As we expand our footprint in Sweden, we are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on experience to support our local operations in Stockholm and Linköping.

Role Overview:

As an Infrastructure Engineer (Hands & Feet Support), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our physical IT infrastructure, providing onsite support for Servers, networks, and related hardware. You will coordinate closely with remote IT teams in India and the USA to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite hands & feet support for IT infrastructure at Stockholm and Linköping locations.

• Install, configure, and maintain Servers, Routers, Switches, and network devices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and server-related issues.

• Perform regular system maintenance, monitoring, and upgrades.

• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures.

• Support implementation of new infrastructure solutions.

• Collaborate with global IT teams to support business operations and IT projects.

• Ensure adherence to IT security policies and operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure support roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Networking equipment (Routers, Switches)

  • Server hardware and configurations

  • VMware/Hyper-V, Linux, Windows administration

  • Backup and storage solutions

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with global teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel between sites as required.

Nice to Have:

• Swedish language proficiency.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like vROps.

• Prior experience supporting enterprise environments in multiple locations.
