Infrastructure Architect - DC Consolidation/Migration Exp

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a major European infrastructure transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects for a global automotive organisation, working remotely from anywhere in Europe.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded infrastructure specialist with a strong architectural background. Please note, this is not a Network Architect position.

The successful contractor will join a team delivering a significant infrastructure transformation programme, with the primary focus being the consolidation of 12 regional data centres across Europe into two strategic hubs.

Alongside this, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to several other infrastructure projects, including Microsoft Azure migration and optimisation, Identity and Privileged Access Management (PAM) projects, Citrix to Azure migration activities, Telephony infrastructure projects and General infrastructure modernisation and transformation.

Technical capability is important, but attitude is what will set you apart. We're looking for someone who:

• Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is a role for someone who doesn't need micromanagement. You'll be trusted to manage your workload, make informed decisions, and deliver results.

Technical Experience: You'll ideally have experience across the following technologies and environments: Strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience, VMware, Hyper-V, Infrastructure architecture and solution design and Data centre consolidation or migration projects.
