About the Role
We are seeking an Information Governance (IG) Transformation Officer to play a pivotal role in strengthening and modernising our clients Information Governance function. This 12-month role will deliver a strategic roadmap to restore structure, compliance, and visibility across all IG activity. Working closely with the Information Governance Manager (and Data Protection Officer), you will support the delivery of improvements that embed sustainable, compliant, and future-focused governance practices across our client.

What You'll Do

• Audit and streamline Legacy IG documentation, including DPIAs, breach logs, and asset registers.

• Redesign and implement improved workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

• Create templates, tools, and guidance to ensure consistency in IG practices.

• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to drive process change, provide training, and embed best practice.

• Provide insights and recommendations to the IG Manager to support strategic leadership.

About You
We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn complex IG requirements into practical solutions. You'll have experience in information governance, data protection, or compliance, with the confidence to lead on process re-engineering and to engage staff at all levels.
