Job detailsSalary £33,603 to £38,169 per annum (pro rata if part time)
To support the Information Security and Compliance Team Leader in delivering information governance, information security, data protection and compliance activities across Nottinghamshire Police. The postholder will lead on the management and investigation of information security incidents and data breaches, provide advice and assurance on information governance matters, review Data Protection Impact Assessments and Information Sharing Agreements, and support compliance monitoring activities. The role will also analyse emerging risks, identify trends, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen information management and security practices across the Force.
Key Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for an organised and analytical individual with experience in information governance, information security, data protection, or compliance. You should be able to interpret legislation and guidance, assess risks, review documentation, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and manage competing priorities. The ability to work collaboratively in a team and develop effective working relationships is essential. Please refer to the Person Specification for full details.

For current Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner staff applicants, please note that Nottinghamshire Police would be a new employer. However, an agreement has been made whereby all tenure and length of service will be honoured.
Vetting Level - Management - you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years, with less than 12 months spent abroad (some exceptions for those living on a UK military base).
