Job Description

Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a much-loved national charity to recruit an Individual Giving Manager on a 6-month, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to lead an established team and shape an ambitious individual giving strategy that will have a real impact on people s lives.

As Individual Giving Manager, you will report to the Director of Fundraising and take the lead on growing individual giving income through innovative campaigns and inspiring supporter experiences. You ll be responsible for developing engaging donor journeys, implementing best practice across marketing and stewardship, and overseeing activity that strengthens donor loyalty and lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of individual giving campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring targets are met and activity is insight-led.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive supporter journey strategy that enhances donor engagement and retention.
  • Grow one-off and regular giving income, identifying opportunities for acquisition and long-term donor development.
  • Oversee marketing and communications activity related to legacy giving.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, ensuring CRM systems are used effectively to inform strategy and track performance.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Promote compliance with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and best practice in supporter care.
  • Line manage and mentor a small team, providing clear objectives, guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the fundraising and communications teams to align individual giving with the charity s wider strategy.


Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in individual giving fundraising, with a proven record of delivering successful multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of data segmentation, supporter journeys, and audience insights.
  • Excellent knowledge of GDPR, ICO guidance, and fundraising regulation.
  • Skilled in managing budgets, analysing results, and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Confident leader with line management experience and a collaborative, motivating approach.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for a range of audiences.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and to fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.


What s on Offer:

  • An exciting 6-month contract within a fantastic organisation (full or part-time considered).
  • A hybrid working pattern with 2 days per-week onsite in Central London.
  • A fantastic salary of £45,000 (pro-rata) for the successful candidate.
