What We're Looking For

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and growing organisation.

We're looking for an Independent Prescriber for our Kingston and Merton Services. This can either be a full time role working 2.5 days at each service or a job share.

As an Independent Prescriber you will conduct comprehensive assessments to support prescribing of Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) interventions, alcohol and opioid detoxifications, benzodiazepine reduction and relapse prevention medications. As a part of our wider clinical team you may also support health care assessments and blood borne virus interventions. Supported by the Medical and Clinical Lead for your service(s) and in collaboration with operations colleagues you will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, evidence based and compassionate care. We are looking for experienced Independent Prescribers, with a background in either nursing or as a pharmacist.

Salary: £52,040 - £60,610 per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience (pro rata where job share/part time role)

Vacancy type: Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours. (2.5 days at each service where 1 FTE)
