Appointment of Independent Member

Our client s Standards Committee deals with matters relating to the conduct and ethical standards of its elected and co-opted members. The Council is looking to appoint a replacement Independent Member to the Committee. One of the two Independent Members will be required to chair meetings of the Committee.

An allowance of £1,091 per annum is payable in respect of this role. The allowance will be £2,103 if you are appointed to be the Chair of the Committee.

An interest in standards in public life, an ability to be objective and impartial, as well as good analytical, decision-making and communication skills are essential for this role.
